Vet Tech (CVT/LVT is a plus) to add to our animal-loving team of professionals! We are looking for someone who is capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting multiple doctors. Candidates must be energetic, friendly, mature, and team players with excellent people skills. Compensation will depend on experience and education. Work a 4-day-per-week schedule with no weekends.

Receive and place calls to clients for the purpose of scheduling. Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner. Maintain proper documentation through client and pet records. Assist all clients by providing necessary instructions, information and invoices, dispensing prescription items per the veterinarians’ instructions, and scheduling all future appointments. Utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and teammates. Manage the financial needs of the hospital by maintaining accurate balances through a collection of client transactions, following all cash and credit card handling procedures, and following proper opening and closing procedures. Excellent customer service skills and an exceptional level of communication in a professional manner. Advocate for pets through client education on preventative care, pet health needs, treatment recommendations and all other hospital services/procedures. Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets and other teammates.

Kennel Technicians are responsible for maintaining a clean boarding area, walking (changing litter boxes for cats), feeding, and giving water to boarding pets. Additionally, kennel technicians are responsible for organization in the boarding area, maintaining steady laundry flow, cleaning cages, sweeping, and mopping, This position will also be cross-trained to assist with basic animal restraint, nail trims, and other basic veterinary assisting skills.

The ideal candidate for this entry-level position will have a flexible schedule and will have a passion for patient care. You must have excellent time management skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effective communication skills.
