Denny Simonton, DVM


After graduating from Battle Mountain High School, Denny attended Colorado State University to complete his undergraduate and veterinary degrees. After practicing both large and small animal medicine in Eagle, Idaho and Parker, Colorado, Denny returned to the Eagle Valley. He joined Dr. Hunter-Alt as a partner and co-owner at Castle Peak Veterinary Service in 1989.

His medical interests include internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, orthopedics- including surgical repair of anterior cruciate ligament injuries- and cancer chemotherapy. He is a member of the Veterinary Cancer Society.

Denny enjoys fishing, telemark skiing, golf and hiking with his family. He lives in Eagle with his wife and three sons, two cats and two dogs.
